​About this course type

Circle LMS's checklist builder is a highly versatile tool that can be used in various ways to fit your training needs. Whether you’re looking to create questionnaires, conduct post-training surveys, or document standard operating procedures, this tool has you covered. The checklist builder is also ideal for developing assessments or homework exercises to reinforce key concepts.

Create a checklist

Now that you know the basics, let's create a checklist!

  1. Navigate to AdminCourse AdminChecklist Admin.

  2. Click the menu bar on the top right and select "Create New Checklist".

  3. Complete the Course Info page.

  4. Enter additional Course Details.

  5. On the Course Content page, click "Add Variant".

  6. Choose a region and language for the variant.

  7. Fill in the Variant Information and click "Save".

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the Variant Information page and select "+ New Version".

  9. Click "Add Question" to begin writing your first question.

  10. Select the answer type (e.g., Yes/No, multiple choice, image answer, text only, numeric answer, etc.).

  11. If you chose Multiple Choice as the answer type, provide values for your answer options.

  12. Toggle ON "Required Question" if the learner must answer this question

  13. After adding all questions, click "Finalize".

  14. Select the version to be made "Active".

  15. Go back to Course Content and toggle ON the variants you want to publish.

  16. Publish the checklist by turning ON the Active and Viewable toggles at the top.
